We are a group of professional athletes, performance directors and software CEO’s who have over 100+ years of working with teams such as NY Knicks, Manchester United FC, Chelsea FC, Liverpool FC, Leeds United FC, England National Soccer Team, The Washington Nationals, NIKE and EXOS, to name but a few.

We understand what it takes to get to the very top of sport, how to do it, and what is needed. We have a software platform with intuitive intellectual property that can help your son and daughter improve their sporting skills and technical ability all driven by their personal coach.

Dave Hancock

England National Soccer Team, New York Knicks, Chelsea FC

Dave is one of our co founders and CEO of Apollo. His CV has taken him to be the Head Physiotherapist of Leeds United Football Club, Chelsea Football club and the Performance Director of the New YorkKnicks Basketball Team. Has has over 22 years of Experience as a Physio, Strength Coach and Director of Performance working at the highest level in Rugby, Football and Basketball. He is a certified PT both in the Uk and the USA.

He is a qualified Strength coach and holds 2 Masters degrees in Sports Exercise Medicine and Manipulation. Dave was the first English Physio to be recruited full time for 6 years by an NBA franchise as a Performance Director. He has also attended the 2010 Soccer World Cup and the 2012 European Finals. Working for the English Senior Men’s National soccer team for 5 years. Dave has lectured all around the world, published many medical /Scientific papers on ACL Rehabilitation and Sports injuries, he is also a member of the Nike Performance board (USA).

Dave brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team and you the client, having worked with some of the World’s best Athletes and Sports Teams in three different professional codes. His experiences and knowledge are world renowned. – He understands how Sports Teams work and what is needed on the shop floor, thus our software development is guided from someone who truly understands how a team or athlete operate, and how software can enhance their everyday needs.

Dr. Tony Strudwick

Head of Performance, Manchester United FC, England National Soccer Team

Tony Strudwick is a highly experienced practitioner with proven skills in providing athlete and coach support at an elite level of soccer. Tony graduated from Loughborough University with an underrgraduate and Masters Degree in Sports and Exercise Science. He subsequently completed a PhD at Liverpool John Moores University in 2006, researching the physiological characteristics of elite soccer players.

Tony has over 20 years proficiency in managing service delivery in high performance teams in the UK and North America. Following periods at several Premier League clubs, Tony was recruited by Sir Alex Ferguson in 2007 as Head of Sports Science at Manchester United FC. Tony enjoyed 11 years working for Manchester United finishing his tenure as Head of Performance. In that time, Tony was part of a highly successful team winning the World Club Championship, Carling Cup (x2), Premier League (x4), UEFA Champions League, Charity Shield (x4) and F.A Cup. In addition to his duties with Manchester United, Tony was selected by The English Football Association to work with the National team at FIFA World Cup 2014. More recently, Tony was editor for “Soccer Science” by Human Kinetics, published in July 2016.

In 2018, Tony completed a Masters in Sporting Directorship at Manchester Metropolitan University in June 2018, Tony joined up with former player Ryan Giggs as Head of Performance at The Football Association of Wales. Tony is also acting consultant for The English Premier League.

Bill Burgos

Bill Burgos is the former Head of Strength and Conditioning for the Orlando Magic and the New York Knicks. Mr. Burgos is currently an Adjunct Professor for Austin Peay State University in which he created an online course discussing the current trends of Sports Science and Strength and Conditioning. With over 15 years of collegiate and professional sports (i.e. MLB, NBA) experience, Mr. Burgos has obtained two Masters of Science degrees. His first MS was obtained from Austin Peay State University in Exercise Science where he also obtained his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science. His second MS was obtained from A.T. Still University in Human Movement. In addition, he is currently certified as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and a Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Mr. Burgos is also FMS (Functional Movement Screen) certified, an EXOS Performance Specialist, MWOD certified, and PRI (Postural Restoration Institute) certified in myokinematics.

Burgos is currently the Immediate Past President of the NBSCA (National Basketball Strength and Conditioning Association) and served on several committees in the NBA such as the NBA Sports Science Committee and the Junior NBA Leadership Council. Additionally, Burgos serves on the NBA Gatorade Advisory Board.

Ram conceived the need for ProZone in 1996 working with Derby County FC, having worked with M&M Mars (Europe & Japan), Sanofi, SA (France & Global) and BSI (Global) in Business Development, Strategic Planning and as Marketing Director.

ProZone was divested to a private equity company in 2005, having successfully installed the system as de facto game and performance analysis standard in the English Premier League for Football and Rugby. Ram was a non-executive director for FTSE100 company Amlin, other smaller companies and is Chairman of two charitable trusts; Yorkshire Cricket Foundation for Yorkshire Cricket and Funde Cruz for an ex-Premier League footballer in Ecuador.

James Milner

James Milner

Professional Soccer Player, England National Soccer Team, Liverpool FC, Manchester City FC

James is an English professional footballer who plays for Premier League club Liverpool. A versatile player, he has been used in many different positions such as on the wing, in midfield and at full back.

Milner’s talent in football, cricket, and long-distance running was recognized at a very young age. He represented his school in these sports and played football for amateur teams from Rawdon and Horsforth. He supported Leeds United from a young age and was a season ticket holder at the club. In 1996, he joined the Leeds United youth academy. He made his debut for the first team in 2002 aged only 16 and gained prominence as the youngest player to score in the Premier League.

While at Leeds United, he spent time on loan at Swindon Town to gain experience as a first-team player. Following his move to Newcastle United, he was loaned to Aston Villa for a season. He went on to make over 100 appearances for Newcastle, before returning to Aston Villa on a permanent transfer in 2008. After playing an influential role in Aston Villa’s run to the 2010 league Cup Final and being named 2009-2010 PFA Young Player of the Year joined Manchester City for a reported £26m transfer fee in 2010, going on to win the 2011–12 and 2013–14 Premier League titles, 2010–11 FA Cup and 2013–14 League Cup. After five seasons with Manchester City, Milner signed for Liverpool on a free transfer in 2015.

Milner made a record 46 appearances for the England national under-21 football team, playing at the 2007 and 2009 UEFA European Under-21 Championships. He also played 61 appearances for the full English national team, scoring once against Moldova. He was selected for the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cup squads, as well as the 2012 and 2016 UEFA Euro Championships. Milner retired from international football in 2016.

Sean O’Donoghue

Sean O’Donoghue currently serves as a technology executive and advisor to a number of companies providing management and advice to emerging technology companies focused on Digital Media, Athlete Management, Software Systems, Mobile Applications and Advanced Data Measurement & Analytics in the areas of business plan development, operational scale, product focus and technology strategy. Mr. O’Donoghue recently served as executive vice president and Chief Technology Officer for The Madison Square Garden Company. In this role, Mr. O’Donoghue was responsible for all aspects of the company’s technology, and their efforts to use technology to help grow our business. Mr. O’Donoghue led the company’s efforts in identifying and integrating the latest technology and to support their strategic objectives, across core infrastructure, broadcast and news facilities, websites and social media platforms, or sports and entertainment products.

Mr. O’Donoghue worked closely with each of the company’s business units to ensure that they achieve technological excellence and consistency throughout the company, and that all of their technological efforts remain focused on supporting employees, key initiatives and business priorities. Prior to joining The Madison Square Garden Company, Mr. O’Donoghue served as the head of information technology for feature animation company, DreamWorks Animation SKG, where he was responsible for IT strategy and operations, and prior to that, was responsible for IT strategy, architecture and applications at the Macerich Company, a real estate investment trust company.
